Each of these extraordinary holders is handcrafted by Toshimasa Kawamura, a woodworking artist based in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture. Kawamura-san is known for collecting rare and distinctive woods from around the world, selecting each piece for its character, density, and story.

Drawn from a collection of more than 140 wood species, no two holders are ever alike. Grain patterns shift, tones deepen or lighten, and weight varies subtly from piece to piece — making each one a singular instrument.
