Two Arts and Crafts patterns meet across this richly botanical Hobonichi Weeks, created in collaboration with London’s Victoria and Albert Museum.
The design combines John Henry Dearle’s 1912 Leicester wallpaper, filled with dense foliage and botanical details, with William Morris’ 1876 Wreath pattern of winding acanthus leaves and poppy-like flowers. Morris’ familiar words about keeping what is useful or beautiful are added in gold foil.
Inside, the Weeks layout places the full week on the left and a grid-paper memo page on the right, with additional note pages in the back. Thin Tomoe River paper keeps the book slim, portable, and ready for ink.
