Mini Message Set - Chika Higashi | Rin I

Rin I is part of Chika Higashi’s experimental Rin series—works that developed organically, guided by curiosity and quiet observation. The artwork is framed by the envelope’s window, allowing the illustration to appear like a small, intimate picture when sealed.

Created in collaboration with Kakimori, this mini letter writing set is designed for thoughtful, everyday notes—thank-yous, short letters, or accompanying a carefully chosen gift. Printed on fountain-pen-friendly paper with the soft, tactile feel of washi, it offers a writing experience as considered as the artwork itself.

Higashi lives and works surrounded by nature at the foot of Japan’s Yatsugatake Mountains, where her bold, colorful style emerges through a fluid use of media—from colored pencil and pen to acrylic and watercolor.
