The Blackletter Correspondent – Special Edition Jinhao Century 100

A correspondent from another era.

The Blackletter Correspondent is a special-edition Jinhao Century 100 with an unmistakably old-fashioned character. Finished in glossy black with polished silver-tone trim, its barrel features an engraved inscription that gives the pen the appearance of a well-kept writing instrument pulled from an old desk drawer or private archive.

Its restrained black-and-silver palette makes it handsome without being overly ornate—the sort of pen equally at home beside a stack of correspondence, an open journal, or a well-used bottle of ink.

Each Blackletter Correspondent is fitted with a Fine nib, offering a practical everyday line for letters, notes, journaling, and longer writing sessions. At $29, it is an approachable way to add something with a little history and ceremony to the everyday writing desk.
